As part of initiatives for the fourth centenary of the death of Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (1571-1610), the State Archive in Rome from February 11 to May 15, 2011 promotes the Saint Ivo alla Sapienza within a unique exhibition, cutting completely new, built on original records, preserved and restored in the same archive, which reveal facts of human life and the great painter and artistic aspects previously unknown environmental problems, intellectual, cultural and artistic attended by the Lombard master lived in Rome during the period.
